Optimize your dial or lease performance with sync throughput up to a blazing 128 kbps World's fastest sync modem utilizes advanced Synchronous Data Compression (SDC) to transmit synchronous data up to 400% faster than any other modem.

Features Benefits
AT, V.25bis and LPDA-2 command set automatic calling interfaces Sets calling interfaces via front panel or network management system
ITU V.8 Automode Allows for automatic selection of modulation types and speed on call connection
V.42 error correction Supports CCITT LAP-M and MNP class 4
V.42bis and MNP 5 Data compression, with automatic negotiation on connection
Adaptive Rate System (ARS) Continuously adapts modem rates to optimize through put independent of prevailing line conditions
Remote Configuration, via network management, front panel, and AT commands Easy use allows network to be utilized to its maximum potential
Extensive Security, including Password & Callback, front panel lockout, silent answer and more Controls unauthorized access to your modem and your network
Network Management Ready Network can adapt to growth and change

Helpful hint

How to reset a Motorola Codex 3266 modem which is password protected and I do not know the password.

1)- Close switch 4 on the rear panel (mini-switches).
2)- Turn on the modem.
3)- Push "Return", and then push the button "|>" until you find the option "Reinit memory".
4)- Press "Enter". You will see a message which says: "Reinit all memory?". Press "Enter" again.

Note: When you reinit the memory, you will lose the whole information that you saved in the memory, and will reset to factory default settings.
